charming stay
really good food friendly service great menu
The hotel's rooftop restaurant became a regular spot for me, offering really good food and friendly service. i often enjoyed a snack there after sightseeing. It was conveniently located. breakfast included a great menu with choices, including lattes at no extra charge. the desk staff arranged reliable drivers for me, a significant advantage over standard taxis.
the immediate surroundings of the hotel were a little gritty.

the rooftop restaurant offered really good service and tasty dishes. the staff arranged reliable transportation for our day trips. Heidi provided kind recommendations. breakfast was great. i really liked the robes in THE room.

dusty room delayed iron
The hotel restaurant was excellent (i loved it!).
The cleanliness was subpar. I noticed dust EVERYWHERE. Getting the room properly cleaned proved difficult, and the staff claimed old walls hindered their efforts. I ended up cleaning myself. I waited four days for an iron.

the front desk staff were friendly and courteous I suppose
sound proofing was not good I could hear EVERYTHING happening at the front desk it was annoying the whole time it kept me from properly resting I thought the hotel could have done better

quiet street historic building discreet staff easy access
The hotel sits three blocks from Zocalo. It provides easy access to the historic center. Breakfasts were good. Staff members helped me in a discreet manner. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Sound proofing was an issue. I heard much noise from other rooms.
